I am a Board Certified psychiatrist. I provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management and psychotherapy for adults. Appointments include a diagnostic evaluation, medication management and therapy.
I am in network for Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Pacific Source, Moda and Cigna. I am otherwise out-of network and take private pay (cash), allowing for further discretion, for which payment is due at time of service.
My practice is streamlined, paperless, with intake forms, screening questionnaires, appointments and medication refills all done at your convenience, online through this website.
Co-payments and billing are done securely via my portal. This allows for face to face time to be maximized for what is important to you. Most communications are done via secure email or portal.
My private practice is small, open to a limited number of patients, which allows for greater personalization, flexibility and responsiveness. As such, patients who may need emergency services, case management, or more comprehensive care, may be better served by a larger practice.
I offer tele-psychiatry visits in Oregon and Washington. For patients in Washington, evaluation and follow up visits can be done remotely, and is covered by your insurance (Regence, BCBS, Cigna, Moda, Pacific Source). Treatment of ADHD may require an initial in person appointment.
My approach is integrative, a patient-centered model that considers evidence-based pharmaceutical treatments as well as sociocultural factors, mind-body medicine, and preventative measures. I aim to use minimal amounts of medication, for the shortest amount of time possible, with a focus on safely discontinuing and tapering medications when able.
My medical background and training allows me to recognize medical influences affecting one’s mental health. Integration includes consideration of inflammatory, nutritional and lifestyle influences on mental health. I have an open minded approach, considering developmental and traumatic exposures. I consider emerging, evidence based treatments.

I currently am in network with Cigna, BCBS, Moda, Pacific Source insurance and private pay clients at this location. Please contact your insurance in advance to get coverage details for your policy.
Your initial appointment will be one hour long and will focus on what is most important to you, the details of your history necessary for a diagnosis and the development of a treatment plan.
Follow up appointments are 30 minutes and occur at one month intervals while medications are being changed. Once stable, follow ups occur every 90 days.
More frequent and extended appointments, are available to establish patients, as well as remote and in home visits (for an extra fee).
A credit card on file will be required to book. You will not be charged if you cancel with at least a 24 hour notice, or emergencies requiring you to reschedule. Otherwise, missed appointments with less than 24 hour notice will be charged $100. Please be aware of the same day cancellation fee. This is not meant to be punitive, there is a lot of preparation that goes into your appointment and with less than 24 hour notice, the appointment time is not able to be filled by another patient. By scheduling an appointment , you are consenting to this policy.
Email me for any questions, scheduling issues, or if you do not find a time that works for you.
Depression presents in many forms with biologic and environmental causes. I will work with you to help resolve heart and mind incongruencies, while working to change behaviors that exacerbate negative mood states.
Purpose, meaning and intention. Discovering how to allow these powerful tenets to influence the present moment, can create choice born from awareness, while reducing emotional discomfort.
Anxiety and OCD can be debilitating, an endless feedback loop of physical and mental acts that leaves one feeling frustrated and frozen. Using CBT principles we can work together to decrease your distress and improve your functioning.
